The race is a scenic run in a figure 8 round the creek. The race is organised by the Dubai Creek Striders and is a well regarded race around the locales of Dubai. The record number of participants is 324. The race normally starts at 7am on the 1st Friday of December. The run is followed by brunch at QD's on the edge of the creek with a prize giving and raffel draw after. There are several race categories, they include 10 catagories - 5 male and 5 female. The run starts and finishes at QD's down at Dubai Creek Golf Creek and Yacht Club
We strongly encourage you to register early for this event and advise you of the following:
· If you already have a Premier Marathons Profile your registration will be quick and straight forward.
· If you already have a profile or have an Address Book entry you will not be required to fill in your details again – this is true for all our events.
· If you have not yet created a Premier Marathons Profile you will need to do so – this may take you 10 minutes, depending how much info you wish to fill in.
· If you do not have a credit card you can choose to pay by check or ideally find a friend who DOES have a profile and get yourself registered as an 'Address Book Entry' through your friend's profile.
· Only MasterCard and Visa CREDIT cards are accepted – sorry, NO debit cards, NO Switch, NO Maestro and please note that cards issued direct from US banks often will not work online in the UAE.
Problems with payments?
Please check you enter your card details carefully and ensure the card is:
- the right kind of card (i.e. Credit, not debit and MasterCard or Visa only)
- still valid (i.e. the expiry date has not passed)
- linked to a valid account (i.e. the bank account that your card was issued from is still active)
- holding enough funds for your intended purchase
- having a CCV/CVV number (this is the LAST 3 digits of the number printed on the reverse of the card.
